Old desks, dressers, sleeper sofas and exercise machines get special attention. Drawers come out, doors get secured and sharp edges get wrapped before the carry.
Protecting floors and doorways
When the route needs it, finished floors get runners and tight corners get pads. When we leave, the only change you should notice is the open space.
Donation and recycling sorting
Household goods and furniture that still work are pulled aside for donation, while metal and cardboard head to recycling where it is accepted. That keeps more out of the landfill.
Cleanup before leaving

Look around and confirm the price
When we get there, we check every item and the way out, watching for wobbly railings, slick steps, low ceilings and pets to keep in another room. The price is settled before any lifting begins.

Cover the route, then carry
Floor protection goes down where it is needed, and we take items out one by one, starting with the heaviest while everyone is fresh. Nothing is dragged over your floors.

Secure, sweep and walk through
We strap the load down so it stays put on the drive. Then we sweep the empty area and walk through it with you before heading out.
How the price is set
The main thing we price on is the truck space your items fill and the labor needed to load them. Our pricing is upfront with no hidden fees, so what you agree to is what you pay. These are the things that change it.
- How much there is
- A handful of furniture pieces takes up a small share of the truck. A whole room or attic takes a lot more, and the price rises with it.
- Getting to the items
- Items on the ground floor close to the driveway load fast. Three flights of stairs, a pull-down attic ladder or a long carry from the back yard take more time and more people.
- How heavy it is
- Solid wood, concrete pavers and soaked boxes are much heavier than they appear, and that weight can push up disposal fees.
- Items with separate disposal
- Mattresses, tires and electronics can need their own handling. We let you know during the call if any of your items are in that category.
Common junk removal questions
- Should I carry things outside before your crew shows up?
- There is no need. We pick items up right where they sit, upstairs bedrooms and basements included. It is safer to leave them alone, because we arrive with the gear the lift calls for.
- Are there items you turn down?
- Hazardous materials like fuel, pool chemicals, solvents and open paint cans stay off our truck, since they belong at special drop-off programs instead of a normal haul. Not sure about something? Ask us on the phone and we will answer plainly and tell you where it can go.
- Does the on-site estimate cost anything?
- No. On-site estimates are free and come with no obligation. If the number is not right for you, we head out and you owe nothing.
- How quickly can a crew get here?
- We offer same-day and next-day service, depending on the schedule when you call. Bigger jobs may get a set appointment so we can send a larger crew.
