Construction Debris Removal in College Park

Remodels leave behind drywall scraps, nail-studded lumber, broken tile and old fixtures. We carry it all out of your home and yard in gloves and boots, protect your floors on the way out, and sweep the area before we leave, so no loose nails stay behind.

Cleanup after the work, done carefully

Construction debris is not like everyday clutter. It is heavy, it is sharp, and it often comes with dust. A pile of torn-out cabinets or old decking hides screws, splinters and glass that can cut a hand or flatten a tire. Our crew handles every load with that in mind. We wear puncture-resistant gloves and sturdy boots, and we bundle loose lumber before anyone lifts it.

This service fits a DIY bathroom remodel, a contractor job that left its scraps behind, a fence or shed that came down in a storm, or small demolition you did yourself. If your pile is mostly old furniture or general household clutter, our junk removal service is likely the better match.

Georgia rain can turn an open debris pile into a soggy, heavier load within a day, so clearing it soon keeps the job simpler and the yard safer.

What we take from your project

Drywall and plaster

Sheetrock pieces, plaster and lath leave in heavy-duty bags or tied bundles to hold the dust in. We shut interior doors and work toward the closest exit so less of it spreads through the house.

Framing, lumber and deck boards

Old joists, studs, fence pickets and decking. When possible we pull or hammer down exposed nails before the carry, so nothing catches on a wall, a door frame or someone's arm.

Flooring, tile and counters

Carpet and pad, vinyl plank, laminate, ceramic tile and old countertops. Sharp pieces and shards go into thick contractor bags or bins, never carried loose in our arms.

Cabinets and fixtures

Kitchen cabinets, interior doors, vanities, sinks, tubs and toilets. Runners cover finished floors first, and heavy pieces go out with two people and a dolly.

Smaller roofing and siding loads

Leftover shingles, old gutters and siding panels from a repair. Tell us about how much there is when you call so we bring enough truck space.

Sweep and nail check

After the pile is loaded, we sweep or rake the area and roll a magnetic sweeper over the lawn and driveway to catch loose screws and nails.

Signs the debris pile needs to go

  • Nails turning up in the yard

If you have found screws in the grass or one in a tire, the pile has started to spread. That is a real hazard for children, pets and anyone in sandals.

  • An exit is blocked

Debris stacked against a back door, side gate or garage door blocks a way out when you need it most. Clear paths matter.

  • The project is done but the mess is not

The new kitchen is finished and the old one is still on the driveway. That is the most common call we get for this service.

  • Critters have moved in

Lumber and drywall left outside for a few weeks give rodents, insects and snakes a place to shelter close to your home.

  • Bags too heavy to lift safely

Tile and plaster bags get very heavy very fast. Carrying them yourself is an easy way to strain a back or drop something sharp on a foot.

How we handle a debris pickup

  1. 1

    Start with a phone call

Let us know what the project was and what remains. We can price it by phone, or book a free on-site estimate when the pile is big or hard to size up.

  2. 2

    Check the pile first

When the crew gets there, they look for broken glass, exposed nails, shaky stacks and possible hazards like paint cans or questionable insulation. We tell you about anything we cannot haul before loading begins.

  3. 3

    Cover the path and load

Runners and corner guards go along the way out. Two people lift the heavy pieces, sharp material is bagged, and long boards are carried with someone on each end.

  4. 4

Sweep and look it over together

We sweep, run the magnet across the driveway and lawn, and walk the spot with you so you can see it is clear before we go.

What shapes the price of a debris haul

Your price depends on how much of our truck the debris fills and what it is made of. We give you the number before any work begins, with upfront pricing and no hidden fees. Nothing is added after the truck is loaded unless you ask us to take more.

Volume
Most of the cost follows how much space the load takes. A single bathroom tear-out and a full kitchen are very different loads.
Weight and material
Tile, plaster, brick and roofing are dense. A small pile of them can outweigh a truckload of furniture, and heavier material costs more to dispose of.
Access and carry distance
A pile at the curb loads quickly. Material on an upper floor, in a basement or behind a narrow gate takes more time and more hands to move safely.
Mixed or special items
Loads that include paint cans, batteries or other items needing separate disposal take extra sorting and handling.

Construction debris questions

Something not covered here? (404) 383-7247

Do I need to bag or stack the debris before you arrive?

No. Leaving it where it is often safer than a rushed cleanup. If you do stack it, keep nails pointing down and keep the pile away from doors and walkways. We bring the bags and gear.

Can you carry debris out from inside the house?

Yes. We remove it from finished rooms, upper floors and basements. Runners go down on the floors we cross, and we keep the carry path short. For a basement full of mixed items, our basement cleanouts service may cover the whole space at once.

Is there anything you will not haul?

Wet paint, solvents, fuel and any material that may contain asbestos need special handling. If you are pulling up old flooring, pipe wrap or textured ceiling, have it tested before you disturb it. We will tell you on the call what we can take.

My contractor left a pile behind. Can you work around their crew?

Yes. We can come once the job is finished or after the crew is gone for the day. We keep clear of any active work area and only take what you point out.

Do I need to be home during the pickup?

We prefer someone is there for the final walk-through. For an outdoor pile with clear access, we can confirm the items and price with you by phone and clear it while you are out.
