Basement Cleanouts in College Park
We clear out basements the careful way: two people on every heavy carry, padding on the stair walls, and damp or moldy boxes bagged before they move through your home. You point, we lift, and the floor is swept when we leave.

Your basement emptied, with no one hurt on the stairs
The basement is where the hard-to-move things end up: a treadmill nobody uses, a sleeper sofa that only just squeezed down, cartons resting on bare concrete for years. Bringing them up means tight stairs, short ceilings and dim light, and that is where cleanout injuries usually happen. We take that part on for you.
Each crew maps the way out before lifting, covers walls and railings along it, and breaks down big pieces when that beats forcing them around a landing. Damp, musty or moldy items get bagged or wrapped while still downstairs, so the dust and spores do not travel through the rest of the house.
When only a few pieces need to go, our furniture removal or appliance removal service may suit you better. When the whole room needs clearing, wall to wall, a basement cleanout is the service to book.

What comes with a basement cleanout
- 01
Pickup from every corner
We collect from the floor, the shelves, the crawl corners and the space under the stairs. Nothing has to be moved to the door or hauled upstairs by you.
- 02
Two people on every stair carry
Anything heavy or awkward goes up with one of us on the high end and one on the low end. Our straps and dollies are made for stairs, so loads stay put on every step.
- 03
Covered walls, rails and floors
Tight turns get corner guards and moving blankets, and finished floors between the basement and the truck get runners.
- 04
Taking pieces apart when it is safer
Shelving, workbenches, bed frames and sectionals usually break down quickly. Doing that saves your drywall from scrapes and our backs from a twisting lift.
- 05
Damp and moldy items contained
Stained boxes, mildewed carpet and soft furniture are wrapped or bagged before they head upstairs, so less of it reaches your living space.
- 06
A swept floor to finish
With everything out, we sweep the concrete so you can check for moisture, see the bare floor or plan the next project.
Questions about Basement Cleanouts?
Call(404) 383-7247When a basement is ready to be cleared
A damp smell that hangs around
In humid Georgia summers, cardboard and fabric soak up moisture. If the odor stays even with the dehumidifier running, the stored things are often to blame.
Only a narrow lane left to walk
Having to turn sideways to get to the breaker panel or water heater means the clutter is now a safety issue. Both need open access.
Piles propped against the walls
High stacks of boxes and loose furniture can slide and topple, most of all close to the stairs.
A project that needs an empty room
Finishing the basement, waterproofing it or putting the house on the market all begin with a clear floor.
Pieces too heavy for you now
An old freezer or recliner carried down years ago may no longer be safe for you to bring up. That alone is a good reason to let us do it.
How cleanout day goes
- 1
Call, then a look if needed
Call and tell us what is in the basement. We can quote by phone, or stop by for a free on-site estimate with no obligation to check the stairs, the ceiling height and the items.
- 2
Map the route and cover it
When we arrive, we trace the way from the basement to the truck, lay down runners and padding, and pick out what should be taken apart first.
- 3
You point, we lift
Tell us what leaves and what stays. We clear one section at a time, bag damp items as we come to them, and keep the stairs open between loads so nobody trips on a forgotten box.
- 4
Sweep and walk through
Once the truck is full, we sweep the floor, take up the padding and go through the room with you before heading out.
How a basement cleanout is priced
The price comes mainly from the truck space your things fill and the work needed to get them loaded. Our pricing is upfront with no hidden fees, so the figure you get before we begin is what you pay for that load.
- How much is going
- A handful of furniture pieces is a far smaller load than a basement full of boxes. The more truck space it takes, the more it costs.
- The stairs and the way out
- Narrow, steep or turning stairs slow each trip and can mean adding a crew member. A walkout door speeds things up.
- Very heavy or bulky items
- Safes, pianos, weight sets and chest freezers need extra hands and extra care, and the quote accounts for that.
- The shape things are in
- Soaked or moldy material has to be bagged and handled with care, and wet things are heavier than dry ones.
Questions about basement cleanouts
Do I have to sort things before you come?
No. Setting aside or taping the things you plan to keep is helpful, but we can go through the room together as we work. Plenty of people make the call in the moment, and that works.
Can you take moldy items?
Usually, yes. We wrap or bag damp and moldy things downstairs before bringing them up, so they do not shed through the house. Heavy mold on the walls or framing calls for a remediation company, and we will say so plainly.
Do you take old paint and chemicals?
Paint, solvents and pool chemicals turn up in many basements, and some cannot ride in a regular load. We will check what you have, tell you which items we can take and point you to where the rest can go.
How long will it take?
A basement that is partly full usually takes a few hours. One packed to the ceiling, or with tight stairs and lots of heavy pieces, may take most of the day. We give you an honest time estimate with the quote.
How soon can you get here?
We offer same-day and next-day service, depending on the schedule and how big the job is. Ask on the call and we will give you our earliest opening.
